Nostradai Marketing Policy

1. Introduction

Nostradai’s Marketing Policy is designed to guide our marketing strategies and activities, ensuring they are conducted ethically, responsibly, and in compliance with UK regulations. 3.1 UK Advertising Codes: All marketing communications must comply with the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (CAP Code) and the UK Code of Broadcast Advertising (BCAP Code).

3.2 Data Protection and Privacy: Adhere to the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in all marketing activities, particularly those involving the collection and use of personal data.

3.3 Consumer Rights: Ensure all marketing practices respect consumer rights and are in alignment with the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.

4. Ethical Marketing

4.1 Honesty and Accuracy: Marketing communications must be honest, truthful, and not misleading. Claims made in advertisements must be supported by evidence and presented clearly.

4.2 Respect for Diversity: Marketing materials should reflect the diversity of the community and avoid stereotypes or discriminatory content.

4.3 Social Responsibility: Marketing strategies should consider their social impact, avoiding the promotion of harmful behaviors or products.

5. Digital Marketing

5.1 Transparency in Online Advertising: Ensure transparency in online and social media advertising, clearly disclosing sponsored content and the use of cookies in accordance with e-privacy regulations.

5.2 Email Marketing: Obtain explicit consent for email marketing, providing clear opt-out options in accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003.

6. Environmental Claims

Marketing communications that include environmental claims must be substantiated, clear, and not misleading, adhering to the Green Claims Code to prevent greenwashing.

7. Marketing to Children

Ensure marketing communications directed at children are appropriate, not exploitative, and protect their interests, following the CAP Code’s guidance on advertising to children.

8. Monitoring and Enforcement

8.1 Internal Review: Implement an internal review process for all marketing materials to ensure compliance with this policy and relevant regulations.

8.2 Training: Provide regular training for marketing staff on legal requirements, ethical standards, and best practices in responsible marketing.

9. Policy Review

This Marketing Policy has been approved by the Board of Directors at Nostradai and is effective from 17-April-2024. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and responsibility in all our marketing activities.
