1. Introduction
This Health & Safety Policy affirms Nostradai’s commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors, visitors, and any other individuals associated with our operations, in strict compliance with the United Kingdom’s health and safety regulations.
2. Policy Objectives
2.1 Compliance with Legislation: Fully adhere to the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, and all other relevant UK health and safety legislation.
2.2 Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage health and safety risks associated with our operations, reducing potential hazards to as low as reasonably practicable.
2.3 Training and Awareness: Provide comprehensive health and safety training and information to all employees, ensuring they are competent to perform their duties safely.
2.4 Consultation and Communication: Foster a culture of safety by engaging with employees on health and safety matters, encouraging open communication and consultation.
2.5 Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency procedures, including evacuation plans, first aid, and accident response protocols.
3. Implementation and Responsibility
3.1 Roles and Responsibilities: Define clear health and safety roles and responsibilities for all levels of the organization, from the board of directors to individual employees.
3.2 Health and Safety Committee: Establish a Health and Safety Committee to oversee, monitor, and review health and safety performance and initiatives.
3.3 Incident Reporting and Investigation: Ensure all health and safety incidents are reported, recorded, and investigated to prevent recurrence.
3.4 Monitoring and Review: Regularly monitor and review health and safety performance, policies, and procedures to continually improve our health and safety standards.
4. Health and Safety Management
4.1 Occupational Health: Promote occupational health, including mental health and well-being, through supportive policies and access to occupational health services.
4.2 Workplace Safety: Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring that all equipment and machinery are safe to use and that safety measures are in place.
4.3 Contractor and Visitor Safety: Ensure that contractors and visitors to our sites are informed of, and comply with, our health and safety policies.
5. Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed annually or following significant changes to operations or legislation to ensure it remains relevant, effective, and compliant with UK health and safety regulations.

Approval
This Health & Safety Policy has been approved by Nostradai’s Board of Directors and is effective as of 17-April-2024. Our leadership is committed to providing the necessary resources to implement and sustain this policy..
